1967 Plymouth Fury III | eBay

Ad description:

Up for auction, 1967 Plymouth Fury III 4 door factory equipped with a 383 4 barrel, 3.23 gears and a 4 speed transmission! This car is from Washington and has a clean body. Underside has no rust that I can see, it was factory undercoated. There is minimal rust on the lower 1/4 panels, 1 dog leg, bottom of fender. Body has a couple of dings and scrapes but overall is pretty nice for a 50 year old car.

Still has the factory Certicard. Don't have the build sheet.

The first 5 digits of the VIN are: PM41H

The 5th digit of the VIN is "H" which translates to High Performance 383 4 barrel.

This is a factory 383 4 barrel with the dual snorkel air cleaner (cars with a 2 barrel would have a single snorkel air cleaner).

Exterior is dark red metallic, interior has red cloth/vinyl bench seats. It has Chrysler electronic ignition. Options include: AM radio with rear seat speakers, rear window defogger, heavy duty suspension / firm ride shocks, front and rear bumper guards, undercoating with hood insulator pad. Whitewall 8.25 x14 tires. Tires should be replaced because they're very weathered.

This car runs and drives good. Recent carb rebuild, new fuel pump, water pump, cap & rotor, spark plugs and wires. Originally it had manual steering and brakes but was converted to power steering sometime in the past. Car gets lots of attention and is definitely a conversation starter!

Please note that the odometer shows 16,216 right now. The odometer has probably rolled over but I have no way of knowing. I'm still driving and enjoying it so the odometer will change.

Please ask any questions before bidding. If you want more photos just email me.

This car is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.

Happy bidding and thank you for looking!

He has had this car on Craigs multiple times and I think on EBAY before this time..... Add 5k for paint, 2k for rechroming, 2k for interior work and 2k for tires and misc. Now add this to his 7k desired price and you have 18k invested. He is overpriced and its simple as that. If you like "bare bones" "no thrill classics" then look at my engine bay. No P.S. or P.B. three speed manual trans on the floor on my car.

If you think this car is worth having potentially 18k invested then go for it. You have a lot more spare income than I do.

Pete, unless I missed it, nobody said to make it an 18k investment, that was your take on it. (and I agree, it's not financially-viable for a restoration). This is a maintain/preserve/drive car.

Car used to belong to a member here, he mentioned recently in another thread that this car has bounced from home-home ever since he sold it. If it were nearby and $4500 I would probably be interested in it, but anything more and I started to think about cars I'd rather have instead.
