68 New Yorker 440ci/727 trans runs and drives smooth. Original mileage on title not rolled over. Car has some patina. I own a repair shop, I personally replaced front brake pads, brake booster, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, coolant hoses, thermostat and water pump, single wire alternator, flushed cooling system, changed oil and filter new tires on rear (after the pictures) front tires in decent shape, replace rear shocks with air shocks, I rebuilt the carb (4 barrel Carter AVS, it is an edelbrock performer before Carter was bought out). Fixed up to be a daily driver, has a/c I’d bet it would work if converted to r134a, I’ll wait til summer to do that if I still own it (price of the vehicle will increase for repair of a/c) previous owner/owners took very good care. All windows work, window door and trunk seals in decent shape via no water leaks, no whistling driving down the highway at 75-80, car is champ..I will not respond to is this still available $9500 obo

Patina = Can't afford paint.

It's a term that gets used so much that it could mean the car has original paint with a couple scuffs and dings, or it could be the car is such a rusty POS that you'll need a tetanus shot before you drive it.

It's right up there with "good condition for its age".

Why?

Because the most expensive is to do : body and interior. Front bumper is shot.
And we came from anothe time when the cars were abordable.
Do not mikstake, this is a great car but not for me.
