Looks like the kind of car I would buy if I was in the market for a Dodge (sic). Very well preserved with no apparent rust and very original it appears - and the color ain't bad either.

Even the chrome looks excellent!

A golden opportunity for someone.................

being a montana car I bet those windows don't have any rust around them.
Even though sometimes they get covered up with 4' of snow the state is pretty dry and the snow melts fairly quick.
I've been to deer lodge. I have hunted dinosaurs near there.

Interesting that the grill is the same grill that's on my 70 Chrysler, but the dodge has the polara insignia and there are 3 thingies in the middle of the grill instead of one.

Been texting the fella. Bad master cylinder is his guess, but he says the brakes don't work, and the taillights stay on. Asked for a photo of the VIN to see exactly all options, said he'll get to it.

32 hour drive one way from orlins. I would assume you would have it shipped? Not a lot of folks wanna make a trip like that for a tow.

Did ya ask for the fender tag?

Yeah, I'd have it shipped for sure, which leaves the situation quite tentative, as I'm not interested enough to pay the ask on top of the freight fee.

I did not ask for the fender tag, ill run that by him.

I was wondering about the price issue. Seems pretty high, but if the freight is included in that price, not so bad.

Yeah, I doubt its an all inclusive price. Pretty car but between the distance, price, and what I'd want to do personally, im most likely gonna walk on it. But I'm keeping my mind open about it. She's slick with a 383. Would need to lose the 2 bbl though.

It's also a 69, It might be a promising sign if the owner doesn't know what he has, he may be more willing to deal.

I was figurin on haggling him down.

As I am new to the C body scene, is the 69 newport a sought after model?
Are the 69's better than 70's or 71's? I really know very little about newports.
Info please.

Aint much to get i suppose. Common sense aint to common. Anyway im following up with the fella. Not really after a Newport, but wishes and but and all that.

WTF is wrong with these idiot sellers? 6 pictures?? Really ?

Would you buy a house just seeing 6 pictures?

I've seen cars for sale with 3 pictures.........

I just don't get it at all.

Yes, no photos of the interior, no photo of the body code plate (if the seller as clueless as he seems given he thinks it is a Dodge that is to be expected though), but at least besides the interior there ought to be underhood photos too and even the trunk floor.

I also question what the 99,999 miles really means - that they have no clue about the mileage, they are just guessing or ?????
