I was parking my 1969 Newport in the garage and got to close to the door jamb. I scraped and deformed the aluminum body side molding (in front of the driver side front wheel) such that it fell off. I worked the piece back into shape, but I need help on how to get it back on without damaging the paint.
Do I slide it on from front to back? Does i pop on?
What is the deal with the clip closest o the wheel? It has a sort of antennae-like pliece coming off of the clip. How does that work?
