Up for sale 1970 Chrysler Newport convertible. This car was purchased brand new by the owner I got it from. It's been garage kept its entire life. It was registered last in 2008. And hasn't been driven since. I welcome everybody to please look under the car put your hands inside the wheel wells absolutely like brand new there's not even any dirt in them there's one tiny little rust spot on the bottom of the rocker that I won't fix I want everybody to see the car exactly the way I got. It. I put new tires on it the other ones were dry rotted so bad they wouldn't hold air. I will post better pictures tomorrow. Has Factory air AM radio front bench seat. I'm asking $12,900 or best offer I've Been Told this car is worth at least $16,000 if I wasn't in a wheelchair I wouldn't sell it.

I like that it was ordered with the very desirable optional wheel covers too. Sad circumstances but I hope it has gone to a really good new owner.

And the asking price is now $15k. New parts installed though.

Both my 71 newports have V5X although one of the fender tags does not have v5x on the tag.

Would this 70 have come with the v5x? Or would a "basic" newport not have any side mouldings?

Basic Newports did not come with body side moldings standard but I am pretty sure they would have come with lower bright trim moldings such as wheel lips, etc., which this car does not have. Maybe the bright lower trim was a delete item somehow on this car.

It sure is void of shiny parts. It must have had one repaint in it's life.
Or as you mention it had the parts deleted somehow.
Would love to see that build sheet.
