Dualed out, pretty good body, 383 Auto, 2 door post, P.S., hideway headlights, double hump hood, unmolested, good driver, runs good.

That looks a good motor ,What's the hole in the boot lid ,Looks like a 30 cal hole hope the passengers ok

Mostly a design gag, integrating the lock in the trunk lid script. You could argue though you're safer Close to the curbside if you lock up the trunk at least in countries where they don't drive on the "wrong" side.

ya was one of their saftey selling points 70/71...was susposed to keep folks clear of traffic when opening trunks

What like my country :yaayy:

obviously if yer rear ended your toast anyway but was primarily to keep folks closer to sidewalk ect

You mean the person on their cell phone who swings open the door and steps out into traffic as if invincible?

It is also more convenient if the car is backed into the garage all the way and you have to go get something out of the trunk. My garage was built for cars a little shorter than the Fury of those days.
