1970 Chrysler Town & Country - $1,600 - Glendora, California

FB Description
If the add is up Wagon is Available. Please read entire add before asking additional questions. Thank you. Asking $1,600 not $6,500 This is what you would call a barn find. Has been sitting for the last 20 years. I dont have much information as I recently picked it up. All pictures are recent and car needs to be towed all wheels are flat. I do intend on cleaning it up and get it running but price will increase at that point. Priced to cell bill of sale only. 4 door wagon 440 CI ( I believe it but need to research ) 100 % complete (only missing 1 door panel 74555 miles on the clock Any question please feel free to ask. Thank you for your time.

Not only that, the actual dashboard (pull-type light switch) and the upholstery is 1971. The square outside reartview mirror also wouldn't fit the 1970 model year.
the seller has listed it as a '71....could be it with a '70 grille? I've asked the seller for a pic of the fender tag..

Yes, looks like a 71 with a 70 grille on it. I love these cars. If I was to get a Fusey, I'd shoot for one of these or an Imperial.

Here's the 71 grille (my favourite of the Fusey open headlight offerings...looks back at you).

Kinda suprised to see the tilt/telescopic column option without cruise control.
This thing would really come around with a deep cleaning.
Great price, someone here needs to jump on it hint hint hint @Xenon :poke:

T&Cs of this era can often be a weird mix of practical and luxury. Not uncommon to see odd combos on these wagons.

I wonder whether the windshield is cracked or just mud covered in that pattern? They are unobtainable if needed.

I like vehicles with the factory stereo radio. In 1971 they actually tended to work with at least reasonable reception - the Phillips versions in 1970 - not so much.

75K miles is also attractive. Even still has an original radiator.

Manual a/c and nice colors with woodgrain.

The most surprising thing I notice is that the headliner is still up in place - a miracle especially on a California car. Must have been in inside storage most of its existence.

Agree, it might well be a very good deal................................

they are easy to get overhere.
All windshields no matter if for a 2dr, 4dr HT or 4dr sedan are getting reproduced overhere in europe.
However you want it: tinted, clear glas etc. A friend of mine just recently bought one for the restoration of his 69 Fury I 4dr sedan.

So in case you need something I need to figure out how to get it on the plain on my next visit ;-)

Getting one on a plane would be an interesting endeavor.
