If anyone's within driving distance to the Sacramento, California area, there is what's left of this 1971 Dodge Polara sitting out in one of the rows at the Antelope, CA. Pick-N-Pull wrecking yard.
Maybe there is still something on it that you might be looking for.
The engine and transmission are long gone.
The only thing left is the exhaust manifolds from the 440 engine.
The 8 3/4 rear end is still there with the big 11"inch brakes.
I don't know the gear ratio, or if it's an open rear end, or a sure grip.
I got everything disc brake related off it, as that's how i know about this car.
I'm currently in the process of rebuilding everything, then i will be placing a for sale ad here on this site.
Rather odd, but this car is a regular manual steering car. I thought that strange.
Good luck, if you need anything.

A 440 4dr car with standard steering , did you glance at the tag?

If you are out again grab some pictures. I would grab that manual steering box and the grill if not the fenders and more.

Or if anybody is out there

CHP still ran manual steering in 1971. If that's a real CHP car its worth trying to get it out of there and saving it.

Does the steering wheel look like what I think it does?

This car was recently listed on this site, I would guess in the last two or three months. I remember the drivers door, it looks like a dragons eye. I can't recall if there was more information in the first ad.

Edit- same single picture, same yard, no other information. Thread '1971 Polara At The Antelope, California (Sacramento) Pick-N-Pull, Self Serv Wrecking Yard.' NOT MINE - 1971 Polara At The Antelope, California (Sacramento) Pick-N-Pull, Self Serv Wrecking Yard.

Yes it was a repost by the op. Just an update

For anyone looking for an update on this car, I went to the yard today hoping to salvage this beauty. It was a bad sign right away when it wasn’t listed on their website anymore. I walked the yard for about 30 minutes, checking everywhere, but no luck. On my way out, I took a look toward the production area (employees only) and confirmed the worst—the car had already been crushed. And honestly, so was I.
