Came across this ad on my local Craigslist (Wausau, WI) Seller did not put a location in the ad. Appears to be a really nice car for what he's asking. But hovering too close to that "demo car price" so someone here better jump on it before it falls into the wrong hands! If anyone needs some eyes on her let me know. As much as I'd like to save her myself it's just not in the cards right now. You know how the story goes...

He is asking $2000.

Wonder how bad the frame is?.. Clean looking car otherwise. I'd be looking at it if it was local.

What kind of A/C compressor is that?

There's a hundred Neanderthal eyes looking at it as we speak.

Appearance-wise, isn't that the damn closest any other model came to looking like an Imperial?

We're talking Fuselages, here. There's only about eleven people in the world where a Formal came to mind first.

Looks like a York compressor. That with the universal condenser probably means it has an old MK IV or FrigKing knee freezer for A/C.

I hope the hood being up in the front like that doesn't mean that cool hideaway grill is all stove in.

Yeah, I'm one of those select few. As the owner of two '75 Imperials I get the "my dad/uncle used to have a New Yorker like that back in the day" all the friggin' time. And I kindly have to point out the Imperial badge on the side to them
