1972 Plymouth Fury III Sedan - $6,500 - Southington, Connecticut

FB Description

1972 Plymouth Fury III, 440ci, A-727 Auto Transmission, Power Windows, Power Bench Seat, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Factory A/C (removed) Rebuilt lower end and transmission approx 2 years ago. Too many new parts to list! Undercarriage is solid, damage to pass front fender, rust starting on driver rocker and driver rear seat belt mount rusted off. I have owned this car since high-school and has always been well maintained. Put in storage at the end of last season, unfortunately when started in spring it developed a "knock" coming from the passanger side valve cover. I have not had time to confirm but assume it to be a stuck valve or bad spring (possibly lifter but those were replaced with rebuild). I haven't had the time to drive the car as much as I'd like or to repair it and am moving in the spring. Only listing to see if there is any serious intrest before shipping the car with me. Any questions can be asked in person. Contact me to set up a time to look at it, thanks!

Decent car but it really irks me when people say things like this in their descriptions "I have owned this car since high school"...well that could be 1 year or 50 years ago :BangHead:

Is that a Ford carburetor on there?

"Undercarriage is solid" + "driver rear seat belt mount rusted off" don't = solid to me, further investigation needed me think.
