This will be a temporary post until I find the pictures. This car overall is nice its kind of rare to see New Yorker coupe Black exterior with nice black Leather interior. He took a video of the car for me also it seems to run real nice. The body has no rust it had at least one repaint. The interior on the car seems to be in great condition. The engine was nice and detailed. This would make a daily driver or with a little work a very nice car overall. He bought it sight unseen and was slightly disappointed I have seen this car on E bay. The seller original seller wanted 12 or 13,000 for it. I believed he probably paid at least 12,000. I love the 73 New Yorker but 12k is to high. I think you can get him down to fair price because he is desperate. I sold My imperial couple with 37,000 original miles it had been repainted. It was overall in better shape and Imperial 2 DRS only 2,500 were built and an Imperial is a better riding car. I sold my car for 10,500 with documentation.I would think his car is worth around 7,000 I'am sure his it is rare also. i would rate the car a solid # 4 car. I came close to buying it but found that Newport thanks to you guys. That car is all original with doccumentation from day one. The man that owned it was a doctor and kept in climate control garage for 40+ years and the guy that got it. Bought it through his best friend through an Estate sale. That was his Grandfathers car so it was willed to him. The seller is a mechanic and a body specialist so he did all the work for cheap with his resources and knowledge. The Najvaho is such a nice car for the money I could not pass it up. It was never touched it is the original factory paint low miles he had it detailed 4 times a year always had it maintained by same dealer for 40 years.I will say the New Yorker is a nice car solid runner i have seen 4 doors listed for 6,000 and up like that fool that wants to take the engine out and sell the car for parts. I will find and post pictures of the car soon as possible its located in Florida. I will give you the guys info if interested

I will send you pictures of the Imperial I was mixed up the guy that contacted me has a 73 Newport Coupe for sale. He wants 1,500 its a custom and its needs minor stuff done but its in decent shape and runs well. I wanted as daily driver but I found a Navajo instead. I 'am thinning about it because of price and the fact to have a daily driver that looks good and is really cheap. I to really lucky I drove by this car 10 minutes after he put it in his front yard. Right down the street there was a Mopar guy he had a GTX and a Superbee. he would have jumped on it I paid 5,000 the car had 37,000 miles and the 727 in this car you could not even feel it shift. Its the nicest riding car I have eve been in and I sold it for 10,500. I did not know but the car did have a repaint and the guy that bought the car was so happy. It exceeded his expectations and the 72 and 73 Imperials tied an extra set of keys under the dash out of the factory

Welcome to the forum. Nice car!!
Thank you I miss it. I should have kept it but 1 it was expensive to store i had to get a 30X10 space and I doubled my profit and it would not fit in my garage.

I posted my 1973 AMC Ambassador 401 last week . I was wondering if had a chance to see that. That was pretty special car and it was a sports package. The back quarters it had a big black 401 painted on it.AMC used mopar trans and blocks. From the late 60's on. That 73 ran like a 73 Charger HP I tell you 69 and 70 were the height of horsepower. 1973 they made some fast cars that AMC was very fast I have driven a 73 Roadrunner Completely bone stock they were the same HP they were both fast cars. I had 73 Newport w 140,000 miles 400 2 and a 72 Newport with the same engine and the 73 was much faster. Last but not least the 73 SD Trans AM was the fastest Trans Am ever built. i rode in one it was scary fast and drove a 69 Superbee 440 4 speed and the Fury I have there not quite that there heavy but my Fury it reminds me of a 440 car and they have a ton of power. I can't imagine how 440 six pack or 426 Hemi would be like

They always had Problems designing good looking Scoops at AMC.
I always liked the Hurst SC/ Rambler from 69. Often overlooked High Performance car.
