Awesome survivor Power Wagon. Registered as an antique. About 90,650 actual miles. 318 V-8, 4-spd manual (With low 1st), 4wd. Truck is from Oregon and I've owned it for about 3 years. Original paint (Although there are a few areas that look like there was some paintwork done in the past.) Extremely solid and rust free other than some surface rust. I did have to repair the outer floor pan on driver and pass sides due to water getting in through windshield/vent leak and sitting there under the carpet. Repairs were made with metal patch panels and fiberglassed over. Frame is immaculate and has never been undercoated. The bed is also immaculate and looks as though it was seldom used for hauling.
When I got the truck it was just fine mechanically, but I always replace and/or upgrade components for reliability. Here is a partial list of everything that has been replaced or upgraded since I've owned it:
Carb
Fuel Pump
Alternator
Belts
Ignition module and ballast resistor
Ignition Coil
Shock Absorbers
Plugs and wires
Distributor cap and rotor
ENTIRE braking system (4 Wheel Drum Brakes) including wheel cylinders, all hardware, shoes, brake booster, master cylinder, drums, emergency brake cables, lines (All stainless steel).
Interior carpet, seatbelts, and reupholstered bench.
Exhaust (Modified to side exit)
I also have some new parts that I just haven't installed. Again, the existing parts are fine, I was just going to replace for peace of mind. These include:
Water Pump & gasket
Starter
Locking hubs
Bearings and various steering components also.
(I also have the original Carter 2bbl carb that could be rebuilt.)
I'm including 5 original steel wheels that came with the truck. Four of the tires on them are usable, but the 5th isn't.
The truck drives beautifully. It tracks straight down the road and the engine runs smoothly. It would be great as a survivor or is a prime candidate for a full restoration. It is so solid mechanically and body wise, that you could patch the old mirror bolt holes in the doors and paint it and you've got a top quality truck that will look like new.
I originally bought it to use for hauling things, but it turned out to be far too nice of a truck to beat up like that. I love the truck, but I simply don't drive it much anymore. I'm focused on my 79 F150, so the Dodge only gets out every so often and it really needs to be driven and appreciated by someone else.
I'm only interested in selling the truck outright. No trade offers please.
Feel free to call with any questions.
Thank You.
