Price Reduced from $8,500!! $5900 Firm - car is worth close to 10k

1975 Chrysler with 44k actual miles, two owner vehicle. This car is completely original right down to the dealer installed plastic on the seats. Interior is in immaculate condition. Only blemish is a crack in the steering wheel due to age and a stain on the passenger head rest. Seats, dash carpet and headliner are perfect. Most of the paint on the car is original! There was a dent on the passenger rear quarter that we had professionally fixed so that has been repainted. All other paint is original. Almost perfect but does have a superficial scratch on the left rear quarter and a couple small door dings. The vinyl top has no cracks or wear in it or fading and is perfect. The bumpers on the car look like new. All glass is good.

Since the vehicle sat, I took proper measure to make sure everything was gone through before starting the vehicle. Fuel system was gone through, replaced the fuel sending unit and cleaned the tank and carburetor. Fluids changed. Has brand new Whitewall Radial tires with less than 3 miles on them. Brakes were gone through and functioning properly. AC works but will need recharged. Most of the factory tags are still under the hood and on the door jams. Just as clean underneath the vehicle. Was dealer under coated.

Tempting now!
I like the color, even if i'm too young for this combo!

This car has been for sale for a long time. Something must be up with this car besides price. It should of sold quickly at $5900.

Looks like a nice car. Is there a way to tell just by a picture a 400 vs a 440?

There is but most pictures the A/C Compressor blocks the machine pad on the Engine block near the left front of the intake and it will be stamped 440 and some letters and or characters. I've seen enough of them to be able to tell by the air gap under the intake and of course the fender tag will have E64 for a 400 and E85 or E86 for a 440. And the VIN will tell you also.

My 1st New Yorker Brougham,77,was painted this color and had a beige leather interior, loaded, vent windows, VIP sport wheels.440.I miss it.Still have the reworked heads.Yay.B.B

Somebody loved the **** out of this car. What a survivor!....

Someone on this forum, please save this car!!!

We remarked earlier about that plate of spaghetti on top of the right inner fender. It scares me no matter what the price.

It always amazes me how much better the dang door panel condition is with Newport's compared to NY'ers. NY'ers always seem to have cracks or other problems like clips and the cardboard backing board self destructing.

It's cuz they usually have crank windows and you don't have to keep pulling the panels off to get at the motor.
My next Formal ( ) would be a Newport 4 dr. sdn. with few options.

I wish the NY'ers had the arm rest setup like the Newports....
