1976 Royal Monaco A/C Relay 4049132

The blower motor doesn't turn on from the dash controls. When hooked to a battery the motor spins, so there is a disconnect somewhere.

My 1976 Royal Monaco has the A/C Relay 4049132 mounted on the firewall. This relay is confusing to me because it is also referred to as a load relay or alternator regulator relay. Does this relay have anything to do with the blower motor?

I don't have a blower motor relay under the steering column, not even wired to accept one. I can't find a blower motor resistor anywhere, or a reference to one in any my Chrysler repair manuals.

I'm stuck at this point, any help would be much appreciated!

Your blower relay is mounted on your heater box.

You can take off the dash pad and access it pretty easy. It has 2 screws mounting it to the heater box. It is just to the left of the glove box on the heater box.
