Hi, I'm restoring my Monaco after it has been hit in the rear.
I am unable to find the following items:
  • Rear driver side filler panel (the one behind the bumper, in the corner)
  • Steering wheel
  • Hood ornament
Does anybody have any of these items?

Thanks

The steering wheel is tan in color. It is tilted I guess but u don't remember the telescopic feature.

I always thought it was a C body but maybe I was wrong?
Sorry in case I am

A picture will clear all of this up.

If it is a Formal.... steering wheels that aren't cracked are hard to find. You might find someone parting one out but if you're looking for restoration quality the best bet is to have it recast. That is going to cost $900-$1200.

It's funny how i've never took a picture of the steering wheel but then i found it in one of the ads of this boards. I actually own a car that was advertised here :D

Here's the picture...

With the time it only gor worse. The crack on the top now has separated the two parts so now i have a 1/4" gap. Not very good looking :(

It is very rare to find a steering wheel that is not cracked. Finding a NOS one is even rarer. Best bet is to have it recast. There are 2-3 different vendors that restore steering wheels.
