1978 Chrysler New Yorker
68,699 miles showing on speed o meter. Not sure if that is original or not. Has a 400 va four barrel carb, all three runs good. Needs a radiator and tires, this car has a lot of bells and whistles for its time. Eight track tape player that still works. It has power windows, power seats, and rear window defroster, cruise control A/C. Not sure if it works. This car is in descent shape for it's age. It has original spare tire and jack still in truck.

Chrysler Imperial 1975
If there was a chance of me owning it, I would still be holding it aside, but who am I kidding...

[14 y/o girl voice] OMG OMG OMG! That's a favorite combo for me too! Beautiful color... Bittersweet Metallic and Parchment/Brown.

I'm going to tell myself "no sunroof" to prevent my doing something stupid.

I've been contemplating something stupid for several months now... I just can't do it. I spent a lot of time justifying a price I could live with for an offer and I could have made a full price purchase all along if I really had to. I have too many projects as it is and not nearly enough time for them.

I have been coming to terms with myself over that same time period that I am at the point that I really need to focus my next transaction on getting rid of the bus. I so wanted to do another fly and buy for Carlisle... but I honestly have no business bringing another home right now.

I've spoken to the gentleman about this one on several past occasions, his names Bill, and he's looking to thin his herd due to a move. He's a REAL Chrysler guy if you ever speak with him. Everything work except the wipers, typical bushing issue he says. Couldn't put the funds together to purchase it. It's certainly worth a look..

Jeff, you need another Imperial like an Eskimo needs a freezer.
That does absolutely nothing to stop the desire...:BangHead:

For me, being practical has involved pining away looking at the ad and not being able to bring myself to post it in open forum... while secretly scheming how I could own her.

Viv is already wise to me, if I start measuring and installing new front doors on the house before Carlisle... she will know I'm planning to do something stupid to the living room.:realcrazy:

I kinda wish somebody in the forum would get it, that way we could keep an eye on it :)

I had a Cordoba that color combo while out in AZ. I will say this... you need to live in a place with 300+ days of sunshine to get the most from it. Lots of colors are like that; they don't look as good without sunshine.

Does anyone know when the Bittersweet color began/ended? My ideal formal would either be a '74 Imperial or '78 NYB in that combo with a sunroof, probably a 4drhtp just for extra rarity. I could go velvet or leather on this one.

I called the guy last week .... The Dk. Blue '78 has a couple of small rust spots and the trunk has some rust.
