No.
1986 was the first year for port fuel injection. VV was late '70's early 80's, then came throttle body injection up to '85, then port injection through '91 on the 5.0 engine.

Chances are that the wagon needs an in-tank fuel pump. $700 would be a bargain if it wasn't clear across the country. If it was local, it would be on my trailer, headed home.
