I would like to see under car pictures and learn more about the original exhaust routing of both cars. Also everything about their exhaust tips and their differences.

Please post everything you have.
Thanks! :)

I’ll throw my 2 cents in - I manufacture the tip hanger for ‘70-71 dual exhaust cars. The GT tip has a finger that goes into the rubber isolator. A non-tip car would use a clamp that had a finger that would be sandwiched between the clamp and over-axle pipe.

Here is a photo of the tip using the proper bracket/locator holes on the car. Location / reveal (slightly adjustable). I don’t have pipe routing photos as my GT is now completely dismantled for restoration. I’m sure a member here will have some photos for you.

They look great! Thanks for posting!

Some pictures from the underside would now be great!

Seems like there are some nicely-detailed illustrations of the routing and support types/locations in the factory service manual? Perhaps some others in the Chrysler Parts Manual, too?
