383 Oil Pump Removal

Disassembling a 383 and I've gotten to the oil pump. I took out the 4 bolts holding it into the block, and as opposed to coming off, the pump stays in place and will spin around.

Anyone experienced this? Tips?

There is an o-ring on the pump member that fits into the block, most likely that is what is holding the pump in place, carefully pry it loose.
