Please excuse me for asking a question about a Chrysler a year earlier than the start date, but does anybody know the weight of the 1954 Windsor Town and Country wagon and the weight of the 54 New Yorker Town and Country wagon?
I am not sure there is much of a difference in the weight of a hemi and the Spitfire 8. I have the shop manual, but it is in Maryland and I am on vacation in NC.

Thank you.

I suspect the difference in the vehicle weights would probably be, engine-wise, in the additional weight of the Hemi heads and related valve gear. Maybe a little bit for the longer-stroke crankshaft, too.

Otherwise, I would suspect the NY would have better sound/heat insulation and more seat padding. Maybe about 50 pounds in those areas? Plus one notch larger tires.

Just some thoughts,
