'65 Fury III - Installing window fuzzies on the door panels

Hello!

The window fuzzies for my '65 Fury III just arrived, and I'm very happy with the quality and fit.

The question is, how do I install them on the door panel side? I know that they were originally held on with wire clips, staples, really, and I got a bag of said staples with the fuzzies, and I'd like to know how others here fasten the fuzzies to the door panels.

I have a heavy duty desk stapler in my office that has 5/8" staples for stapling 1/2" stacks of paper together, considering using that, since the door panels will be off.

Thoughts?

I used small screws instead of the staples . When you install them ,they sink right into the fuzzie,and can barely be seen

I used aluminum pop rivets.
