65 Polara blower switch removal?

Am I reading this right that I have to pull the heater box out the bottom to reach the fan switch to test/replace it?

I doubt if you have to pull the heater box. I don't have a '65 Dodge FSM to check, but I'd say you would have to pull the radio.

Lucky me, it's a radio delete right now.

I would like to find an original and have it updated to include the modern advantages now though.
