I got my Dads 66 Fury off my brother and it needs a little attention.
Rear right wheel cylinder was leaking for a few years. So when I got under and looked, thought it might be a good time to change both rear wheel cylinder, brake shoes, both R+ L hard brake lines and flex line in middle. I am in Calgary Alberta and the car is in whistler BC area, so I can't run out and look!
The block on the rear axle that the R+L lines go into , is that part of the rear flex line? ,or does the rear (centre) flex lines screw into the block? The reason I ask is I ordered a new rear flex line and it did not come with the block. It has been a while since working on old mopars, but I thought the brass block was part of the rear flex line.
Also I think that the one drum with the leak will be no good, it was driven for a few years with a leaky wheel cylinder. I could try cleaning it and then maybe turn it slightly, but I'm not sure how much meat is left on the drum. I measured the inside of the drum and it seems to be 11" and the shoes are 2". The rear axle may be from a 66 Windsor, not sure , a lot of updates were done over the years. So I may have to pick up another drum.

When I go back out there at the end of the month I hope to get most of the work done then.

Block is separate and should be fine. The flex lines screw into it.

The hard lines are available new prebent in regular or stainless steel from Canada's own National Moparts 1-888-652-7464

The drums should interchange between the axle housings and if it is within specs for turning should be OK to do so even if you've had a leaky wheel cylinder. Just replace the shoes and cylinder..

Thank you Ross. Good to hear Nationalmoparts have the pre bent lines. I have dealt with Nigel at nationalmoparts a number of times when I lived back east years ago.
Thank you for the info.
