'67 Rear view mirror

Or the tightening thereof. Does anyone know how to tighten up the ball and socket? Every time I try to move the car the mirror ends up in a different spot due to Newton's law. I'd prefer it ignore Newton's law and stay where I put it.

I'm pretty sure there is an allen head screw at the ball pointing towards the windshield.

No allen screw but there are three screws on the inside that hold the ball.

I was thinking the other end of the rod where the mirror attaches (where I typically have problems).

Yeah I found that later. My problem was at the headliner portion. Well that and the splined arm section but epoxy took care of that.

Took the 3 screws out on mine and bent the bracket.
