Except for those added marker lights, it's really nice: 1967 Plymouth Fury Vip

A black on black VIP, wow. I would get rid of those wheel covers and put a full set of small white walls on instead of 2 on the front and different on the back, and original wheel covers or magnum 500s though. Looks to maybe a have a 318 by the hood emblem? Can’t say I ever seen only one headrest, that’s interesting.

What a spectacular VIP. I've never seen one this nice. Black on black with a slick top is stunning. This car screams for a set of factory deep dish wheel covers with correct whitewalls. Shame about the screwed-in side marker reflectors. And I hope the bodyside molding is the stick-on variety that could be peeled off easily, not the type where mounting holes were drilled into every body panel.

This car features the rarely seen 3-in1 split bench seat that included individual armrests, individual adjustments, a passenger side seat back recliner with adjustable headrest, and individual seat back cigar lighters. Headrests were available individually and in pairs - the 3-in-3 required the passenger headrest. This seat was optional in the New Yorker and Newport Custom 4 doors and added robe cords when installed in those models.

This 1967 represents peak VIP before the cheapening and decontenting started. The 1968 VIP lost what made it a VIP: the rear seat center armrest, the rear cigar lighters, and the reading lamps were eliminated.

A very nice example of Chrysler's Caprice.
