Here’s some dyno data for a few parts and configurations. Yours will vary.

69 Chrysler 300 with 505ci, A727, 2000rpm Stall, 3.23 Sure Grip, 2.5” TTI Exhaust with Dyno Max Mufflers.

505ci Specs,
Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold,
Lunati Voodoo, Duration (Int/Exh): 268/276; Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 226/234; Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .494/.513; LSA/ICL: 110/106
906 Heads with 2.14 Intake Valves/ 1.81 Exhaust Valves
10:1 C/R
Timing 18 initial, 34@2500rpm

Engine Shop Dyno Runs after rebuild 05/2022
Holley 750, Open Headers – 437hp@4900rpm/573tq@3000rpm (Engine shops carb)
Carter 4640S, Open Headers – 420hp@4900rpm/550@3000rpm (My carb)

Dynojet Chassis Dyno – HP Exhaust Manifolds
Runs were made in 2nd Gear (1.45:1) from 2000rpm-5500rpm to avoid any down shifts. Not sure if 2nd gear skews the numbers up or down?

Carter 4640S, HP Exhaust Manifolds – 273hp@4900rpm/327tq@4300rpm
Without Air Cleaner --------------------- 278hp@4700rpm/347tq@3800rpm

Dynojet Chassis Dyno – TTI 1-7/8” Headers
Runs were made in 2nd Gear (1.45:1) from 2000rpm-5500rpm to avoid any down shifts. Not sure if 2nd gear skews the numbers up or down?

Carter 4640S, TTI 1-7/8” Headers – 293hp@5000rpm/365tq@3700rpm
Without Air Cleaner ------------------- 298hp@5000rpm/369tq@3600rpm

Dynojet Chassis Dyno – AVS 2 Carb 800cfm
Runs were made in 2nd Gear (1.45:1) from 2000rpm-5500rpm to avoid any down shifts. Not sure if 2nd gear skews the numbers up or down?
I made several runs while tuning the carb, changing rods, etc.. HP & TQ only fluctuated about 5 points between Rich & Lean.
I also modified the Air Cleaner and opened it up around its circumference. Little to no difference with it removed.

Edelbrock AVS 2 (800cfm), TTI Headers – 305hp@4900rpm/375tq@3800rpm

So, at the end of the day a gain of approximately 30hp/tq.

For comparison purposes and for fun, I’m posting the chassis dyno results for my 520”. 9.9 C/R, custom grind cam, stock, ported 1968 440 intake and HP exhaust manifolds, TTI 2.5” exhaust with the better flowing mufflers. I can’t recall the brand. Edelbrock 800 cam non-choke carb. My recall is that the tests were without the air cleaner.

407.6 TQ @ 3950 rpm & 312 HP @ 4500 rpm.

This is from my 1968 Sport Fury that is listed for sale on FCBO.
