1970s Dodge Van Turned Boat Could Storm the Beaches of Margaritaville

I found this article interesting. I find it rather scary that a fireplace was an option on this boat. It is pictured inside on one of the photos and appears open flame wood burning fireplace. What could possibly go wrong there?
