WANTED 71 New Yorker front bumper closure chrome moulding

I'm looking for a LH chrome moulding, which is missing on my 71 New Yorker. I also need the retainers or clips for mounting it to the front bumper closure:

Has anyone got a spare, or knows somebody who might have one?

Can't help you with the moulding but the clips are available at Restoration Specialties & Supply, Inc.
I ordered them a few months ago.
Best is to take a picture from the clip and email to them.

I have the piece you are after. I'm just not sure if it's good enough for your car. As I recall the ones I have are anodized polished aluminum and appear slightly foggy. Whereas the ones on my 70 Newport appear to be polished stainless and are still shiny. I'll dig them up and post some photos, if you could post some up close pics that would be good. Your pieces look very shiny, you will need new clips, originals are thin and brittle. 99% sure 72 is different.

Yesterday, as I was searching through ebay, I actually found something very promising; NOS 69-71 Chrysler 300 grill molding (part-nr. 2931345):
up for sale is 1 new NOS LH lower grill molding. #2931345 fitting 1969 1970 1971 full size Chrysler 300 models.

In my opinion, after searching some pictures of 69-71 Chrysler 300's, this one should also fit my Yorker. Looks good & shiny on the picture:
