May I contribute this one?

Hope it is not a re-post.

This car nees some cosmetics/trim, especially at the passenger-side, but at this price I don`t think there is anything to argue...I am close to call it a bargain, if it`s a runner.

I like the 72 front-clip and a 360-4 is a desirable engine.

Unfortunately no VIN or fendertag.

The seller last drove the car 3 years ago. From SFV down the 405 to south bay and back.
He was run over by a drunk driver and has not been able to drive the car since then.
I think himself, not the car was hit by a dd.
Says it runs fine with starter fluid and gas in the carb.
So, typical gas has gone bad. Not surprising.
I bet it would drive state to state with fresh gas.
Looks like a deal to me.

Thanks @cuda hunter for sharing additional infos on the cars/owners story and even supplying VIN/fendertag of PP46K2D318843.

If I was local, I would probably buy it on spot.

What are ya waiting for?!?

It's in Los Angeles.
On a list of 5 places I don't want to go, that's number 3.
16 hours drive time.

If it were a cuda at that price, I'd have it home already.
Plus I'm about out of parking spaces.

I do like the 72 look more than the 76 that I have. A 360 though, ahhh.

For what it`s worth:

- negative: not a 360-4bbl car from factory, cause not available from the factory. Fendertag also confirms it as being only a 360-2bbl car (E57) and also equipped with emissions-package (N95)...a360-4bbl (E58) would have been nice.

- positive: it is the highest-level Fury-wagon (Sport Suburban).

Appears rust free from the less than great pictures. For the price it's a bargain for someone looking for a project.

T VON Y22 corporate lease Car.
622 SCHEDULED build date. (Not the born on, not built on, not birthday)
627 ASSEMBLY date.

E58 in '72?

E58 in '72?

By my statement regarding "E58" I just wanted to make clear that

- although this car is advertised by its seller as a "360-4bbl" it was NOT from the factory,
- that such a motor (360-4) was NOT available and
- that it WOULD have been nice if it (360-4, E58) had been available then (which would technically have been possible, as both the 360engine and 4bbl carbs did exist already @mother Mopar).

This following is the 1972 engine-line-up (Plymouth, ALL models, thanks to hamtramck-historical.com), hope it helps clarify things:

Hey- for the person on a budget but likes the look of a 70 SuperBee or Coronet- this is the way to go. I have a 72 wagon just like this but mine is a creamy Yellow sort of color but I got mine for like $2500.00. This guys dash is in better shape than mine as mine came from New Mexico.
Mine has the factory 2 bbl carb and intake and I have yet to get my AC working or the turn signals but I did put some hedders and a custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster Super 40's. Slow but sure sounds nice :) Thinkin EFI might be a nice add on when I do get a 4bbl intake a carb, maybe a front/rear sway bar and off to carve some corners with my yacht :)
