Looks like shill bidding from 2 different accounts did the majority of the bidding.

Misleading ad saying it had all options. As you indicated, right off the bat it doesn't have the optional 440. As well, at a quick glance the car does not have cornering lights either, not to mention no skirts.

At 13,400, he should have sold it...that is top dollar for any C body.

Being that it's a Newport and not a New Yorker, I'm not sure skirts were even an option. No power windows, no power antenna, the after market dual exhaust could be a problem if not installed correctly, to me all those are points off. To me this type of car should be seen and not heard. Unless you're doing some type of customization.
He says it's set at a realistic reserve...if that was true it would have sold at 5k.

Totally shilled. Not one real bid so far.
And look at the seller's history.
Makes me wonder if the car even exists.

I was thinking there was some shill bidding going on with this one. I figure given the condition $5500 to $8k would have been more than enough.

Didn't know that..I can't remember ever seeing one..

I like how they ride. The one I drove needed shocks so I'm wondering how a set of nice shocks would make one ride especially on a 124 inch wheelbase.

I think this is the car I saw driving thru a rainstorm on I-81 near Hershey, PA last month. He was driving the car like he stole it, thru a pretty heavy rainstorm. Then I saw it in the car corral for about $15k. It had about 21k miles and looked like this one. It also stated that it had all the options, which was obviously incorrect.

Thank you for the link of the shocks. I have KYBs Excel Gs on my Dakota and they made a huge difference in the ride.

Thanks for the link Bob... I actually ordered the ones for my Imperial first. I'll let you know how they work out.

Great! I just got another set for the Newport. I plan on taking the Newport to Carlisle in 2015.
