Anyone have a pic of the vacum fitting that goes .
On the intake to run the power brakes
On a 66 fury .
Also asking why do u have to change the brake pedal to go from manual to power brakes on a 66 fury.
Asking because i dont know.
Thank u

As for the brake pedal, the master cyl pushrod location on the pedal will relate to the leverage of the pedal, more with manual brakes and less with power brakes.

Might check the FSM pictures for the vacuum fitting. Plus some of the major, well-known repro parts vendors (for the correct restorations, usually) catalogs.

In looking at doing this, but never did, on mine, I'm about 90% it will all bolt up. There must be many people who have done this on the site, both with OEM and aftermarket set ups to offer up guidance. The other post is correct as the pivot points are different in manual vs. power brakes. In addition to the leverage aspect a selling point back then was w/power the brake pedal was closer to the gas requiring less movement. The fitting was a strait up nipple for a, (I believe), 1/4 inch vac line to the booster, if you have additional things that run off manifold vacuum there will be branches off of it. All readily available.
