Probably decided the the American Millienials are such a gold mine of irresponsibility that they really needed to concentrate all their efforts in collecting fee income from them. (Forgive me if you happen to be a responsible American millenial).

Wonder if that is an excuse for the fact that some hacker wiped all the Canadian accounts and they do not want to admit it.

As the bank stated, it was just easier to forgive the debts and shut down Canadian operations rather than try to find a buyer for the debt.

Likely an additional tax write off too.

Amazed by the young lady who stopped payments 5 years ago, thought they'd have wanted their money.
