Brighten up the Monaco dash with Leds.

[74Monaco CHP]

People with some 74 -75 Models suffer from the dreaded bronzed out dash. I had the old speedo rebuilt (Not by Bobs they had it 3 yrs and never opened the box) and they put in new leds lights. Tip those new Canadian made circuit boards are great. There are available for a variety of Mopars. I just finished out those miniature 363 -393 GE with leds now all is bright. Available on Amazon

I did the same thing with my fury, makes a big difference. Plus it cuts down on the amps going thru the amp gauge. I bought the bigger pack and did all my dash lights, ash tray, radio, glove box.

Got a picture? My ’74 T&C has that yellowed look to the white markings, if that’s what you mean. Not a high priority for me, but the info is useful for later reference.

I put those into my 1994 Dodge B-150 van. What a difference! Now I can see the gauges.

There is really nothing you can do about the browning, it can't be rescreened because Chrysler designed the faceplate to have tiny little holes to let light through to illuminate the numbers from the rear. The faceplate cover itself is a thin paper like material. The holes would be plugged and the light wouldn't come through. Until someone solves that dilemma we are out of luck. I tried several companies, even the expensive ones.

I do have a NOS 120 Faceplate for a Monaco is anyone needs one not bronze and a post 75 certified one that is.
