I am looking for a Z Bar Bracket for my 68 Dodge Monaco 500 Convertible.
Does anyone know where I can get one?
Is there anyone making reproduction brackets for C bodies?

Thanks in advance

No C-body repops, just for the A/B & E's. Unless you find an original, you'll have to modify one of the others. I've done it. Also, your Z-bar is 3 and 4 speed specific.

It is a 4 speed.
How much work is involved in modifying a bracket for a A/B or E body?
What are the chances of finding an original that is not worn.
Any suggestions as to where to look. I am in Newfoundland Canada and not a lot of places here to look!

I'd buy it now regardless what you end up doing.
He only has two left.
Worst case scenario, sell it and get your money back.

Don't need it.
My car is a factory 4 speed, 383 convertible. The only thing I need is the Z bar Bracket, mine is worn out!
The Z bar shaft has worn it away!
Thanks anyway.

What bracket are you talking about? The one welded to the frame or the one mounted to the tranny?

The tranny brackets are available.

BTW, the factory called them Torque Shaft Brackets.

But since you said it's worn out, I'm wondering if you don't mean the ball stud.
They wear out.

The bracket welded to the frame.
When I bought this car the guy who had it didn't take care of it!
The bushing for the Z Bar wore out ant the Ball Stud basically wore away the bracket.
So I need the Z Bar Bracket which is welded to the frame or I have to try an fabricate one or modify one.

Glad to help you find the bracket. The seller listed that part several times in the past.
