I was invited to participate in a car cruise to honor Veterans at Perry Point Maryland VA Hospital. There was 5 groups of about 50 cars in each convoy. Cars were from Harford and Cecil counties. We had a nice 40 mile cruise with great weather. 77° and couldn't ask for anything better. All 5 groups met up at a school parking lot and then we had 250 cars enter Perry Point Maryland VA Hospital. It is a huge hospital complex on the banks of the Susquehanna River. The VA asked us not to take any pictures of Veterans. So we cruised the grounds of the hospital for about an hour. A ton of veterans outside and in the windows cheering us as we cruised by their buildings. It was a worthy endeavor!

Perry Point VA military police and special guides guided us on and around the VA property. We couldn't stop or take any pictures. I'm retired military so I can go on the property anytime. Its a beautiful location right on the water.
