Car Sale Question

I may be selling an old car to a Local friend ,should i ask for cash or check ? Price is 25 grand. Any thoughts ? Thanks in advance.

Local friend...I guess it depends on if you want a paper trail. Good friend, I would do either but, a cashier's check or meeting at the bank covers both of you.

Cash is king, but it's a lot of escarole to carry to the bank. I've done it... and I never liked it. I'm more comfortable with a cashiers check when it comes to that much.
