Hey everyone,

Need help on finding a good outdoor Carcover for not a lot of money. Any recommendations?

$180/$200 portable carport. The ones with a "one-piece cover" that goes from the ground, over the top, and back to the ground and is attached with ratchet straps, not bungie cords. NO BUNGIE CORDS!
Tie it down with rachet straps hooked to the wheels, not the fenders.
Good for about 4 years in full sun and about 50/70 mph wind.
Throw the end panels in the trash.
Try it, you will see the light.

Yes, it is living outdoors. My concern is water seeping into the car and causing rust. May visit Harbor Freight for a 12mil tarp on the cheap.
It will last about 2 months in GA. Or less. Blue, silver, green, brown, black. All their pvc tarps have been referred to as junk. And I don't dispute that.
However, they do sell a green 9x12 one that they call canvas. It's some type of woven synthetic material. It's not completely waterproof, but it will last for several years in direct southern sun. If it's placed over a waterproof pvc tarp to protect the waterproof pvc tarp from the sun you might get reasonable service out of it that suits your needs.
Then condensation and chaffing will be the enemies.

I have a cover on my Polara that cost $179. I am in a windy area so to put a spring clamp on the front and rear of the cover to the underside of the bumpers. I also put two extra ropes around the car, front and back of the greenhouse, nice and tight. I get no flapping. Cover will last anywhere from 5-7 years like this. Do the same on the F100, Parklane, Sable, LeSabre, and Ambassador. As soon as the Sable gets it's new engine I will move it out of the driveway and the Polara in.
