Hell, I did the same thing to my youngest son a few years ago when he decided he didn't need to stay in school, dropped out and moved out. I kept his car and all of his keys, sold the car and kept the cash. After a year of being a mooch to his buddies, he decided poverty sucked and asked to move back in.

I gave my step daughter, son, and youngest daughter all cars when they turned 17. Both girls got theirs taken away before they turned 18. The deal was they had to have a part time job and pay for their insurance. Only my son got his title at 18.
