Now the BIG WTF HUH?

(edit) This tan underside got me thinking, was the color originally tan or is the desert dust so imbedded?
Upon a closer look it appears to have some rear floor patch panels, doesn't look to me to be a cut out welded in panel but a lay it on top of and welded on and would need a further look.
Plus I'm not a 'vert guy but the new parking brake cables don't look right to me.

I really like the looks of the car. Simple removing the exterior trim makes for a clean look.

The dash they planned and that steering wheel needs to be rethought and something cleaner, possibly more towards stock, would be better.

Yeah I still had the underside picture in my paint program this morning and had a re-look, seems many of the brake & gas lines are not right, gas line looks to go from metal to rubber hose and is routed into the wheel well which could be a disaster and I'm not familiar with how the 'vert torque boxes look but there maybe something suspect there.

And the WooWee braided transmission cooler lines are just

Yeah about the custom dash, when I was looking for a 4bbl cold air oval air cleaner for my 6bbl when I took the 6bbl off the guy I bought the 4bbl air cleaner from had a box of dash wiring and gages I take it was from a drag stripped car that had the rally dash for a 'cuda or Challenger which I picked up for a extra $25 because it had the 150mph speedometer and a 6.5k redline tach which caused quite a controversary with many Mopar owners in the 80's saying no big block can spin 6.5k and that was a 340 tach. Come to learn that the 6.5k (or 8 grand) tach is 6bbl, Hemi, & AAR only option. One Saturday I took my 1968 PK21 dash apart and got as far as holding the 150mph speedometer in the cable opening area and just thought this is going to be major work and realized I had a date with my girlfriend that night and thought I'd better button this back up and come back to it later... never did, but seeing the custom board dash in the trunk of this car... why didn't that light bulb go off in my 17 y/o head. heh could've done something with aluminum ala stock car style, maybe even have it metal turned!
