Spotted this car For sale in Oz 1970 Fury 383 AU $11000 NOT Mine, any comments?

Thanks for the correction, car been in OZ since new still Lhd, off road since 1996,resprayed in early 1990's located in OZ inland Capital of Canberra, owner claims no rust ??

Should be a 400 rather than a 383 (if original). 20 years off the road could be good or bad.

Right again, further check of advert reveals it is a 400 cu inch and totally original !

Only issue might be registering it? LHD but no import approval documentation. If they have the old LHD rego from ACT (Diplomatic?) might be helpful, but might also be a bureaucratic nightmare here in Australia ..

Hello RHD Fury, I would like it but at AU$11K I was more interested to see if any of our US friends would consider it a better proposition in returning it to its home country rather than them buying a local rusty project.

I'm pretty sure that car was for sale a few years ago with a smashed rear quarter. Would need to be inspected closely ..

Number plates on the Corvair are destined for the Fury .. but the Fury is a "never-ending" project that I'm almost over. Should have never sold my Aussie Phoenix ..

Who did the rhd conversion ? Probably used Phoenix parts?

Old import .. using Phoenix parts for the RHD conversion. They kept the original subframe, brakes (drums) and for some reason it has a 8.25" diff ...
