Front bumper on before fender wells?

Whats your thoughts: Front bumper assembly (I’m installing it will the the grille, etc) on before installing the fender wells for easy of access to bolts or doesn’t it matter? Looking for a quick opinion. Thanks.

If this is for the 70 fury it does not matter as the bumper mount bolts are direct to the front frame horns. Fender wells are to the rear of the bumper and grill assy. Take care that you do not mar the finish on the front fenders installing the bumper. Put a couple of layers of blue painters tape on the fender surrounds and any other parts that might be contacted by a loose bumper.

If the fenders are off, might consider attaching everything to them, them install the "assembly" to the body (at the cowl areas and the core support). The bumper assy would probably go on last, with care.
