Thanks for finding that video. Lots more detail about the design of the car etc. So much lack of planning! I can't believe that the owner of the Captain America rocket dragster let the guy drive it when he showed up with no safety gear and no prior drag racing experience.

They blamed the bumps on the ramp for cracking the fiberglass body, causing the car to come apart in the air. That's just an excuse and the documentary guys bought it. The car flew and came apart like a funnycar when the nose lifts up and catches air underneath it. I bet it didn't have any fairings underneath to make the bottom aerodynamic once it left the ramp. And look at how those wings on the side folded as soon as the car's nose pitched-up. Those were supposed to help prevent that.
