Does anyone know what fits well on a 65 Newport. I am building a pro touring type car and want something in I am thinking a 17 inch wheel.
The car had what I call the Chrysler Road Wheel on it. 15 x 6 with a 4 inch backspace.
The shop thinks if I go to a 7 inch wide wheel that I will need like a 5 inch backspace because there is not a lot of room behind the fender skirt.
Not a lot of options that I have found with a 5 inch backspace. I'd like something like this.
Just wondering if anyone here has experience up sizing on one of these cars.
