My Walker exhaust catalog shows that the Y pipe is for 68 & 69 C Body 383-2V.

70 - 73 use a different part number for the Y pipe and I don't know what the difference is. Maybe the exhaust manifolds changed? Therefore I can't say for sure that the Y Pipe will fit your 72 Monaco with a 400-2V without modifications. Maybe someone well versed on exhaust manifolds can shed some light on this question.
