Hi, my 1962 Chrysler 300 Sport convertible shows the PNT B36 code and TRM 453. I would very much appreciate any help decoding those two codes. Thx.

The paint code is BB for black over black. Look at any of the numerals 3 for comparison.

T = upper door frame paint color to match the interior.

453 is the interior trim code for leather bucket seats. I'm not sure what color.

What color is the interior?

Hey, thanks for that; that helps. The interior is beige with bucket seats but no leather. He does not appear black over black... I would rather call him blue. Not sure, what do you think? Thx

Nice car. We might learn a few things from it. I believe the paint code is BB6 with the first B used for the roof color on all cars, convertible or not. Second B, the lower body color. Please sand that second B to make sure it is a B aand not a 3--or maybe so. The 6 is for a black top from the factory, this car was originally Formal Black with a BLACK top (the 6). The seating is tan leather and appears to be a split bench with armrest. The interior will be the same color as the seating--Tan. I'm trying to decode all of the tag for you in my decoder but have hit a few snags. Is the passenger side of the front seat powered? Is the LH outside rear-view mirror manual or remote-adjustable from inside? Does the car have a power antenna? Wheels and wheel covers are not defined on the fender tag but appear to be 15" wheels carrying 300H wheel covers. A not-uncommon option. Wondering which engine came with your car. Standard was a 413 single 4 BBL and the 300H dual quad engine was a common option--to achieve 300H performance at a reduced price. Have you investigated/found a Production Broadcast sheet for the car? Often found tucked in behind the rear seat upright cushion. I don't have a copy of a '62 sheet so I've attached one for a '61 Newport. Knows all, tells all. Suspension, wheels, diff, brakes plus all standard and optional equipment on the car. Worth the effort to find. On the fender tag--the numbers under C & D suggest your car was equipped with the Basic & Deluxe options packages with a total content as follows:
323: BASIC 300: Radio Golden Tone, Heater (When AC desired order Code 383 also-Noted as Q3), Power steering, Power brakes, Windshield washer, Light package
324: DELUXE 300 (N/A 300H): Electric clock, Outside remote control left rear view mirror, Padded steering wheel, Sill molding & stone shields
It would be helpful to know if your car has all of these items. Most of the content of these packages shows up on the fender tag--I'm just trying to figure them out. More later.
