Last seen for sale in the early 1990's in Windsor, CT.
'71 Sport Fury "23" roof in Burnished Red Metallic with a new driver quality paint job in the early 1990's that was done just before the car was listed for sale. Black vinyl top, black bucket seat interior, 360, a/c, damage to the right front valance panel and NO body side moldings. If anyone has any info or photos of this car I would appreciate hearing from you. The guy that sold it in the early 1990's was a B Body guy, I think an early B Body guy who bought the car and painted it to flip it. This is one of the few cars that I regret not buying but back then I did not have the money, the space or the brains to realize it was a really unique car that I should have purchased.
Also wonder if anyone knows the whereabouts of a white '71 Gran Coupe with a black top, black interior, fender skirts, 360 and I think it also had a/c. It was for sale in the later 1990's at a repair garage in the Rocky Hill, CT area. Another car that I should have bought but the price was a little high for me back then.
Thanks,
Bill
