Just make sure you are using new gaskets, have clean surfaces and follow the instructions. A windage tray is for the oil pan. The end pieces usually need a little silicone to seal at the ends.

Let's see did I spray those metal gaskets with Permatex copper or the red stuff? I can't remember. 57fury is spot on with the dab of silicone right at the corners where the gaskets and end seals meet.

On those metal gaskets, I seal the intake ports with hi-tack or similar( spray copper would work). And I use a thin smear of copper rtv or similar around the water ports. For the end gaskets, if you have the alignment dowels in the china walls, use the cork seals with hitemp rtv where the cork and metal gaskets meet. If no dowels, use ultra grey rtv or similar laid as a bead that is large enough to bulge when the manifold is installed, but not so large as to make a gigantic mess ( a 3/8” bead give or take)
Travis..
