just saw this thread, nice combination of options.

not sure what an open road package was in 77, i know there was an open road package available for R bodys in 79-81, that was a "handling" package with Firm Feel suspension and steering

fwiw N7D is not a code for leather seats in a 77 Newport. you couldnt get leather in a Newport.

its gonna bug me now what N7D is........

H8E7 is the code for red vinyl 50/50 seats
