Lebaron coupe is on it's way.....!

Love to hear all updates. This one will be worth the effort. I wonder how many of these two doors are actually still restorable anywhere on the planet.
Can't be many left.
There is quite a list of jobs mounting.. I am about to post the latest in the AC heating thread.......big problems there.

only keeps running if you hold the key in the starting position
Replace the ballast resistor; located in the engine compartment on the firewall, and looks like this:

AC heating... big problems
The HVAC system is likely Automatic Temperature Control; searching ATC on this site will yield a myriad of information.

Try some cleaning strength vinegar and a mild scotchbrite pad on the rust oxidized paint. Try it in a lower area first. I would also try a wash with Comet scrubbing powder, it may get the rust colour out of the paint and then you can do a full polish. If you really want to try something, a mild mix of phosphoric acid will get rid of the staining. It will give the car a fresher cleaner look until you take to the finish you desire.
Started on some cleaning. Just one side, to start with. It's definitely looking better.

Drivers window dropped suddenly about 8" looks like there are some teeth missing from the motor! Got a replacement part from Rock Auto and wrestled with the regulator and got it all back and working. ( thanks to going over the forums with great info)
