I went to the Chrysler Nationals in hopes of seeing a 2 door New Yorker but none there. I have been looking for the better part of a year. If anyone spots a 2 door with bucket seats I would appreciate it if that could get sent my way.
I am located in Western MASS, USA.

Chased an ad for weeks on this car with zero luck -Any leads would be greatly apprciated

I don't know where or when you looked (Carlisle lasts 3 days, and some of the cars were only there 1 or 2 out of 3), but there was a gorgeous Black/white/white 2-door at Carlisle. See two photos I took and posted in the Carlisle 2019 thread. If memory serves, it was there Friday. I don't remember seeing it on Saturday, and was I not there on Sunday. I did not meet the owner, but @polara71 (or others) may have.

PS: for those interested, the cream/tan '72 NYer that @Jeffrey Robidoux mentioned was discussed on FCBO in this thread last year.

The black car was there Friday, owner was a fellow named Dan, nice guy.

You've only been looking for a year? Be prepared to look for several years to find the right car.

Was only at Carlisle Saturday - Wish I had seen that black car, it was beautiful, exactly what I was looking to see.
Prepared to wait it out until I find the right car, not in a hurry.
Just hoping that on this site if I miss any ads then perhaps someone would be kind enough to let me know if they see one.

Do you "just want a '72 NYB coupe, of do you have a specific combo in mind -- if so, what are your color "musts" or "dislikes"?

The real wish car would be a 1972 2 door brougham. I just think the body lines and profile are a look I like. I owned one of these in my twenties and it was the car I just loved to drive.
As for preferences, I would prefer a tan or chocolate brown exterior paint and the Code G6 high-back vinyl bucket seats.
The black and white two door that was pointed out that was at Carlisle would have done the trick, but the above preferences are the search I am continuing on.
Just hoping that should one of the members of this forum sees one of these they just let me know.
Thanks for reminding me to tell people what exactly I am wishing for. If I find one I will get it ready for my first trip across the USA the day after I retire (date is now in sight).

There was a B5 ‘72 NYB coupe for sale in Nebraska a few months back. Good condition, nice original paint, $5.5k. It was discussed on this site. I looked at it seriously but in the end i could not get past the interior (tan cloth). What did you think of it?

Unfortunately I didn’t see that ad. Nebraska is a stretch for me but I would have liked to have seen the ad. Going forward if you see one please let me know. I am trying to check the forum daily but sometimes I just forget.

Ahhhh……….., Now I remember that car. Same as you, I could not get past the interior.
The E4 interior vs. the Code G6 high-back vinyl bucket seats is one of my show stoppers - But, if the car were closer I would have given it serious consideration given the price (I thought the price was OK but would have had to inspect the car before buying).
